The communication system DVS-21 is of multi-interface type combining various types of communication systems resulting in complex systems. The cross linking can be achieved with all current transmission methods like fibre optics, hallow waveguide, radio, modem, LAN and finally but not least copper wire.

Interfaces currently available include:

• serial interfaces for linking with ProCom or other manufacturers systems
• analogue and digital interfaces for connection of communication systems of other manufacturers
• opto coupler / relay interfaces for various controls, interface to Fire & Gas systems, etc.
• interfaces to data transmission systems, PC / sound blaster interface
• interface to telephone systems (analogue port) and wireless telephones (DECT standard)
• interface to radio systems inclusive of tone call evaluator for radio magazines
• remote controls
